Internet Classes for Beginners

The Internet Classes for Adult Beginners has been extremely successful but would not have been possible without Sameer Eliyas who volunteered to teach adult Khatri's how to get online.

With modern technology ever changing, alot of older Khatri's felt disconnected and unable to get the help they needed to build their confidence and use the internet. We saw a need for this in our community and it was an instant hit!

The students are progressing well and building confidence in every session and furthermore, they are enjoying the freedom it has now given them.

If you would like to join, please contact Sameer on 07779 259241

Eid Presents For Children At LRI

Muslims all over the world will be celebrating Eid-Al-Fitr this weekend after a month of obligatory fasting (Ramadan).
The MKA wanted to make it an Eid to remember for the children who are in-patients at the Leicester Royal Infirmary by giving them gifts to celebrate this auspicious day. On Friday 17th August, MKA representatives took over 200 toys to the LRI and were able to give these out to quite a few children. The staff, parents and children felt this was a wonderful gesture and one parent was so overwhelmed, she insisted on giving a donation.
MKA left the children very happy and they forgot their pain for a short while.
MKA intend to carry on with this in the future.
