MKA Oranised Free First Aid Course
Free First Aid Course for the Khatri Community by the British Red Cross
This course took place at the MKA Centre on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st October. A text alert was sent out to everyone subscribed to MKA Text Alerts. Response was great and the event was fully booked - 40 participants. The Course went well and feedback received from attendees was positive. Everyone left with more confidence in dealing with emergency situations such as helping someone who is choking, bleeding heavily, burns and scalds, heart attack, stroke, unconscious or not breathing. Everyone received a certificate from the British Red Cross and these will be framed and given to the participants by the MKA. As the response was so great and a number of children have shown an interest in doing the course, the MKA hope to organise more sessions in December 2012 for both adults and children.
