MKA is inviting an Expression Of Interest (EOI) for a Community Heritage Champion 
The post holder will:

- Work on the Leicester Inclusive Heritage Project on a Self Employed Basis
- Apply for Community Heritage Champion role to help tell The Khatri heritage story.
- Bring a passion for people, history, and neighbourhood.
- Nominated participant will meet new people, learn valuable skills, and help ensure unheard stories are told.
- Attend and complete a training programme. Build trust within communities and act as ambassador.
- Gather data through conversations, surveys, and activities in different neighbourhoods
- Share findings to highlight barriers and opportunities

Time commitment:

5 days per month from May 2026 to December 2026. Weekend or evening work may be required.

Training, Renumeration and Support:

This is a paid project with full support and training provided by Leicester City Council. (Subject to approval of funding)
